> WWF VS WWE....AGAIN- The Worldwide Fund for Nature formally served papers yesterday seeking
a damage judgment to conclude years of fights against WWE, Inc. To be
determined in British High Courts, the case will asses damages against
WWE for violating a legally binding agreement over the initials 'WWF'
which the company used till a couple of years ago before switching to
the initials WWE. The court will determine an estimate of the revenue
WWE would have received had the company legally licensed the initials
from WWF instead of 'simply taking them' according to the press release.
> RATINGS- RAW did a 3.7 rating for Monday's show, up from last week's 3.0,
definitely a sigh of relief for everyone in the company. Smackdown! did
a 3.5 for Thursday's show also up from the previous 3.2.
> NO MERCY, TABOO TUESDAY BOMB IN BUYRATES- In their weekly performance charts released by WWE it was revealed

In comparison, last year's No Mercy PPV did around 260,000 buys. Taboo
Tuesday so far is the lowest PPV ever for buyrates.
