Walk, Saturday, July 3 at Prince Gallitzin State Park

This walk is sponsored by the WPMC, there is no state participation.
Two years ago we hunted this park and found a lot of mushrooms
including black trumpets. The walk leader, Ed McConnel is a member
of the WPMC and a long time leader in the Eastern Penn Mushroomers
and recently moved to the Altoona area.
After the walk, our family is goint to Shawnee State Park and camping
overnight to be ready for the next day's walk at Shawnee.
Take Rt. 22 and right before you get to Ebensburg take 219 north. At
Carrolltown, turn onto state route 4015. At Patton; take state route

For all walks and forays, bring water and lunch. Dress for the
weather. Bring basket, wax bags, whistle, compass, chair, hand lens,
and books for identification. Come 15-30 min early and socialize.
Check web site or Yahoo Groups for changes. Bring your membership
card and a friend or two.
We request that no one hunts a walk or foray location for at least
two weeks prior to a walk or foray. It is only through your
cooperation that we can have successful walks and forays.
