The install program did not give me the option of using a different browser, such as
Firefox or Opera,in lieu of MS IE. As I wrote before, I tried installing IE6 successfully into
the same bottle (virtual hard drive) that I intended to use with Word Perfect X3. The
presence of IE6 alone was not enough to install WordPerfect X3.
I have tried installing WordPerfect 11 from a disk into Crossover Office for Mac. Same
problem with the install program failing to find Internet Explorer. I think some parts of
Internet Explorer are essential for the Windows XP Help System.
I think you'll have to use BootCamp or Parallels for any luck with this problem. You can use
VirtualBox, but it's a public beta and not as polished as Parallels 3.
