      The reason I'm leery of RTFs is precisely that the ones generated by
      WP 3.5e aren't as clean as you'd think they should be. I was
      surprised when I converted an old DOS file (that I couldn't open in
      WP 3.5e) via NeoOffice, saved as RTF, and opened in WP. It was
      perfectly clean. Gail
