Indias Vice President Presents the International Awards for Young People
The Vice President of India, Shri Mohd. Hamid Ansari presented the International Awards for Young People, India to the remarkable young people at a function here today. He presented the Gold Awards to the remarkable young people for their dedication and hard work and Meritorious Service Certificates to the dedicated people working for maximizing the potential of the young people so that they may contribute effectively to society and to the nation.
Thirty Five young people have been presented Gold Awards and seven persons were presented the Meritorious Service Certificates.
Addressing on the occasion the Vice President said that these awards highlights the talents of the Awardees and they deserve recognition because they have done something exceptional beyond their normal duties. Congratulating the Awardees he said that each of the Awardee is a good citizen of the nation.
International Awards for Young People India have been constituted to give individual young people the opportunity to discover the idea for contributing to freedom, responsibility, intelligence and standard of behaviour for themselves through a graduated programme of experience.
