      Shalom everyone,

      Did you know:

      That the four Gospels each correspond to the four levels of understanding in Judaism?

      That Mark wrote his Gospel to the Gentiles; Mattitiyahu (Matthew) wrote his to the Pharisees; Luke wrote his to the Sadducees and Yochanan (John) wrote his to the Essenes?

      That Luke was born and raised an Aramaic speaking Syrian and wrote his Gospel to Theophilus, who had been the High Priest from 37 to 42 C.E..

      All of this information and much, much more is documented in:

      The Hebraic-Roots Commentary
      Volume 1:
      Semitic Light on the Four Gospels

      By James Scott Trimm

      This is the first commentary to apply Jewish Hermeneutics to the original Hebrew & Aramaic texts of the Gospels.  The HRV Commentary also seeks to understand the Gospels in light of a multitude of citations from:

               *  The Tanak

               *  The Dead Sea Scrolls

               *  Rabbinic literature
               (including the Mishna, the Talmud, Midrashim, Targums, the Zohar etc.)

               *  The Book of Enoch (quoted by Jude 1:14-15 and alluded to on many occasions
               in the New Testament)

               *  The Lost "Gospel according to the Hebrews" once used by the Nazarenes
               and often quoted by the "Church Fathers".

               *  Historical sources like Josephus, Philo etc.

      This commentary also delves into nuances in the original Hebrew and Aramaic text including Semitic idioms and offers important insights from the sources listed above.  This important book will help you better understand the text of the Four Gospels in light of first century Judaism, the Semitic text itself, etc. (Aprox. 250 pages).

      If you enjoyed the Hebraic-Roots Version you will LOVE the HRV Commentary!
