Midrashing through The Book of Daniel together on the internet (paltalk)

Join us this Thursday night, and every Thursday, as we midrash
together through the Book of Daniel. I will be there consulting the
original Hebrew and Aramaic as we go through the book together.

This week: Chapter 3 (including apocryphal "addition")

This will be a thorough study of the Book of Daniel and will include
a study of the apocryphal sections of Daniel as well. As some of you
may know some ancient copies of Daniel included three additional
sections which are now placed in the "Apocrypha". Our study will not
identify these sections as canon, but will cover them so as to give
us a complete understanding of all elements of the Book of Daniel.
The following is an outline of how we will cover the Book of Daniel
      in coming weeks.

      I. Introduction (1:1-21)
II. Dream of the Great Image (2:1-49)
      III. The Fiery Furnace (3:1-30)
IV. Song of the Three Young Men (Apocrypha)
      V. Vision of the High Tree (4:1-37)
      VI. Belshazzar's Feast (5:1-31)
VII. Daniel in the Lion's Den (6:1-28)
IX. Vision of the Four Beasts (7:1-28)
      X. The Ram and the Goat (8:1-27)
XI. Prophecy of the Seventy Weeks (9:1-27)
XII. Prophecy of the Last Days (10:1-12:13)
      XIII. Susanna (Apocrypha)
XIV. Bel and the Dragon (Apocrypha)

I will be teaching each Thursday on PalTalk (http://www.paltalk.com)
In the BeitNetzarim room. This room will be in the "Religion and
Spirituality" category and "Christianity" sub-category (I am told that
the "Judaism" sub-category creates too much disruption with
      anti-missionaries disrupting the room.)

You are all invited to come join in the study, this Thursday and every
Thursday at 7:00 PM Central Time.
Your message has been successfully submitted and would be delivered to recipients shortly.
