126In two week:- Solar & Wind Integration Workshop - London, UK October 2013
- Oct 6, 2013Dear Colleagues,
2 weeks before the start of the event, the preparations for both the 3rd Workshop on Integration of Solar Power into Power Systems as well as for the 12th International Workshop on Large-Scale Integration of Wind Power into Power Systems as well as on Transmission Networks for Offshore Wind Power Plants are coming close to an end. The ambitious programs have been finalized. Find more information below.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in London
The 3rd Solar Integration Workshop is preceeded by high quality tutorials, offering a comprehensive review of essential aspects involved in the design and exploitation of modern PV power plants, covering both technical and operational aspects. Find the detailed program here:

3rd Solar Integration Workshop (21 - 22 October 2013), http://www.solarintegrationworkshop.org/
The Solar Integration Workshop brings together utilities, PV/CSP system developers and project developers, power systems operators and other professionals to exchange knowledge and ideas, as well as experiences in matters relating to the integration of solar energy into power systems.
First European PV GRID Forum - 22 October 2013 - London, UK (13:00-17:00)
The first European PV Grid Forum is organised by EPIA, the European Photovoltaic Industry Association. Moreinformation here.
The First European Forum aims at discussing findings and future steps for PV large-scale integration at distribution level in Europe. The Forum will present the initial results of the PV GRID project, focusing on technical and regulatory solutions for a smoother integration of high penetration levels of PV into the grid from both the system owners' and the DSOs' perspective.
12th Wind Integration Workshop (22 - 24 October 2013)
Find the detailed program here: http://www.windintegrationworkshop.org/
The general purpose of the Wind Integration Workshop is to get researchers, economists and practicing engineers from different fields relating to wind power and transmission systems to exchange their knowledge and discuss their experience in the area of large-scale integration of wind power into power systems and transmission networks for offshore wind power plants. The emphasis of this workshop is on both theoretical discussions and practical applications. More than 250 participants from about 25 countries are expected for the workshop.
