      A stray dog was brought to the WAIF Animal Shelter in Coupeville on Friday,
      8/24. She was found at Ft. Ebey State Park.
      The dog is a senior female Newfoundland mix who seems very sweet. She is all
      black, with graying on her muzzle. She has recently been clipped (given a
      summer haircut), and seems to have trouble with her hips.

      If you know the owners of this dog, please have them contact the shelter at
      360 678-5816.

      (Other stray dogs brought to WAIF in the past week include a male Australian
      shepherd mix, a female golden / Lab mix, and a pair of dogs found in
      Langley -- a Golden mix and what appears to be an Australian shepherd mix;
      both males.)
