      measures on the March 2002 ballot, <br>and thus far 41
      districts have announced bond measures totaling <br>over
      $4.5 billion (see list below). <br><br>The deadline
      for filing ballot opposition arguments is shortly
      <br>thereafter and varies with each county. School bond
      elections <br>are conducted by county election officials,
      so you'll need to <br>check with your local county
      registrar of voters to confirm the <br>specific local
      deadline if you plan to file an opposition
