Group Description

This group is a safe place for Pagans of all paths, who suffer from chronic pain, or have a family member, or friend who does, to come and discuss the issues that surround their everyday lives. Chronic pain can be caused by many conditions, we're not concerned with the cause, just the affects it has on it's sufferers. You can vent, tell jokes, discuss both standard and alternative treatments and therapies, get and give advice, or just chat if that's what you need.

Spirituality and faith are an important part of coping with any illness. Here you can be open about your beliefs and how those beliefs help you in dealing with your pain issues. The group is open to people of all faiths, but it's perspective is pagan. Anti Pagan propaganda will not be tolerated. Pain affects everyone no matter what their race, creed, or religion...all are welcome. just be respectful of each others beliefs.

If you have CRPS-RSD, Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid or Osteo-Arthritis, an autoimmune diseases, or you suffer from chronic pain as the result of an injury or treatment for an illness, or if someone you know is suffering
from pain for any of these reasons, your welcome here. Pain is common ground.

Flaming and spamming will not be tolerated, neither will playing my pain's bigger than your pain. Other than that, just about anything goes. Rules and regs will be kept to a minimum...mostly because I'm usually the first one to break them. Come in, sit down, relax and become part of the extended family.

"Pain is whatever the experiencing person says it is,
existing whenever the experiencing person says it does"
(McCaffery, 1968, p. 95)
