      This position is a direct report to the Senior Analyst based in New York
      City headquarters. This position is also accountable to the Director of
      Client Services in the London office. This position has the opportunity
      for advancement into a Senior Analyst role over time. As the business
      intelligence practice at R/GA grows, so will the opportunity for the
      right person.

      Primary Account:

      This role will be assigned to an anchor account.

      Position Overview

      The primary charter of this role within R/GA is to contribute data
      intelligence to the development of global and regional integrated
      marketing solutions with a heavy focus on digital and interactive media.

      The output of this role will include the skills to develop tracking and
      reporting design solutions, extract key observations from multiple data
      sources, and distill actionable information that can inform team members
      and thus lead to more profitable marketing solutions for R/GA clients.

      Desired background will be a prior analysis position within a
      technology-forward marketing organization or a small to medium-size
      agency that has expertise in the interactive space. Experience working
      within a direct marketing department or agency will be considered a real
      plus. A technology-forward, early adopter individual with a real passion
      for tinkering under the hood will be necessary in order to thrive in
      this position and within the R/GA culture.


      * Conduct campaign data analysis (test plans,
      creative performance, media performance, etc)

      * Manage the collection and synthesizing of data for
      clients from multiple client sources.

      * Assist the senior analyst in understand business
      requirements and documenting them.

      * Understand client's business requirements, design
      and develop reporting and analysis approaches tailored to their needs

      * Stay current with client and industry developments
      and benchmarks

      * Work closely with the team in making specific and
      actionable client recommendations

      * Foster relationships with Account, Production,
      Interactive Design, Creative and Technology teams

      * Also responsible for client-facing assignments

      * Strong analytical skills, must be proficient in
      analyzing and interpreting data from standard software packages and
      client databases

      * Experience with website analytics platforms
      (software packages such as: WebTrends, Omniture, Coremetrics, HBX,
      Visual Sciences) and email transmission solutions (such as Epsilon,
      @Once, Echomail, Cheetahmail, etc.)

      * Expert user of Excel

      * Role requires the ability to write clear and
      concise PowerPoint presentations for to summarize data insights,
      outcome, and implications in straight-forward and enlightening way for
      clients and internal teams alike

      Requirements & Qualifications

      The candidate should meet the following professional requirements:

      * 2 years + experience in a related role

      * Agency background with interactive and/or direct marketing
      experienced preferred

      * Minimum Bachelors' Degree required, preferably in business
      or marketing

      * Knowledge and experience of the web, other interactive
      platforms and digital environments in general

      * Understanding and experience with media campaign
      optimization, direct marketing/CRM, and integrated communications

      * Working knowledge of database and segmentation strategies

      * Solid quantitative analytical skills, qualitative analysis
      a plus

      * Experience working with strategic planners for the
      purposes of incorporating customer analytics, campaign analytics,
      forecasting, reporting and optimization in order to inform concepts,
      ideas and plans

      * Experience in consumer electronics or mobile telecom
      industries is a definite asset

      Successful performance in this role will be evaluated by ability to:

      1. Deliver accurate and timely reporting

      2. Deliver actionable analysis and relevant insights from data
      that can support media/advertising/marketing programs as well as
      web-channel and other multi-channel digital platforms

      3. Develop tracking and reporting requirements to support client
      business objectives and key performance indicators, particularly
      campaign analytics.

      4. Delivers telescopic and/or detailed findings clearly in
      written or oral presentation format

      5. Collaborate and work well with others

      6. Contribute to increasing the level of innovation in data,
      analytics and CRM at R/GA

      Day to day tactical deliverables for this role include (but are not
      limited to): developing reporting and tracking requirements and tags,
      creating visually presentable reports, delivering relevant insights to
      planners, creatives, interaction designers and clients.


      Successful performance in this role will be evaluated by:

      that will help clients connect with their target audiences

      our Media planning/buying agency partners, and oversee the integration
      and quality of their deliverables on behalf of our clients

      * Tactical deliverables for this role will include
      Communication plans, Media plans, creating of original communication
      positioning, communication architectures, and in general concepts and
      ideas that inform and inspire the development of creative and
      marketing/media plans
