      Hi everyone,

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is looking for a FT in-house
      Web marketing and analytics specialist.

This person would be responsible for:

-- Developing and implementing Web marketing plans and strategies for
      www.chop.edu.
-- Recommending strategies to meet the site performance needs of
      specific departments (subsites).
-- Developing success metrics for sites.
-- Tracking the performance of our Web site and our competitors'
      sites.
      -- Measuring conversions.
-- Establishing guidelines for organic SEO.
      -- Creating and managing keywords.
-- Monitoring search engine keyword rankings and referrals.
-- Monitoring site traffic and user behaviors.
      -- Conducting linking campaigns.

Applicants should have an in-depth knowledge of search engine
functioning, and know how to configure and use WebTrends or other
analytics tools. Also, three years experience in establishing and using
      analytics.

If interested, you can apply at www.careers.chop.edu (select Search
Jobs from left nav) and enter keyword "web analytics."

      A bit about us...
Children's Hospital was the first children's hospital in the U.S. and
currently is ranked as the #1 children's hospital in the nation by Child
magazine and U.S.News & World Report in their annual surveys of
children's hospitals and physicians' reputational ranking of children's
      hospitals. It's a very forward-looking, quality-driven institution that
constantly pushes the boundaries to improve the health of children. On a
more personal note, I've worked at CHOP for the past 10 years and truly
enjoy the challenging environment, my dedicated colleagues and living in
Philadelphia. Feel free to contact me off list if you would like
anecdotal information about living in Philly or working at CHOP.

      Thanks,

      Kate Simpson
