Does anyone know of a good current resource for search engine optimization.  I’m especially looking for information on current best practices (metatags, keyword relevance, or other) to improve organic rankings.

        A few good resources include:

        - Danny Sullivan's Search Engine Watch (www.searchenginewatch.com) is great.
        Check the various 'tips' articles.

        - Bruceclay.com is also great, but he's trying to sell you his services, so
        be aware of that.

        - SEOCHAT.com: The forums there are great, but make sure you read enough to
realize who's for real and who's not.

        - SEMPO.org: The learning center is helpful.

        - And, in a shameless plug, I've written a few articles on the subject:
        http://www.portentinteractive.com/library.htm in the 'search engine
optimization' section has some general, non-sales stuff that should help.
Just like Bruce Clay, I definitely have an axe to grind, but there's still
        useful information in those pieces.

        Hope this helps,

        Ian
