[JOB] Digital Media Analyst position in Manhattan - the client is growing again!
- This Manhattan based digital agency position will provide analytic support and strategic recommendations for one of the largest CPG companies in the world. This position requires an eye for numbers, intellectual curiosity, proficiency at problem solving, a strong command of online media, and an understanding of traditional media. The candidate must be a team player, responsive, and business savvy.
Work with the Manager and the media teams to create measureable online and offline campaign objectives and key performance indicators
Determine campaign data and tracking requirements; manage measurement systems for data capture and reporting
Work closely with the media team to deliver client-specific analyses to provide strategic insights and campaign recommendations for media and creative optimization. Analyses include: campaign analysis, customer segmentation and profiling, retention analysis, lifetime value analysis, and competitive market research
Analyze Web site behavior using Web analytics tools to determine areas of client Web site improvement
Responsible for coordination between the research and analytics team, the media team and account service to ensure analytical projects are effectively delivered on time
Contribute to the company's knowledge base by creating and sharing case studies, POVs and seminar/conference summaries
Three (3) years of online media and creative measurement experience
Excellent understanding of online and offline advertising performance metrics
Expertise collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data
Strong ability to judge and quantify results of advertising / promotional efforts placed on behalf our clients (i.e., understand true value of ROI, understand/describe impact of results, compare actual results to needs of client/product) and know what to do with this information (i.e., how to optimize placements, which promotions to recommend, etc.)
Knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation
Experience in the analysis of large data sets to find useful relationships
Solid knowledge of research resources such as TNS, comScore, Dynamic Logic, and other research/planning tools
Requires excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
Proficiency with ad serving and rich media tools, e.g., DoubleClick DFA and Vindico
Web site analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
Strong working knowledge of Office, especially Excel (pivot tables and lookups a must) and Powerpoint
