      RBI Search has an award winning portfolio of vertical search products,
      including the Kellysearch product search engine, data-driven
      information services such as Bankers Almanac and branded search
      products and directories.

      We are looking for an experienced Head of Search & Analytics to join a
      small, highly motivated marketing team, based in East Grinstead and
      reporting to the Marketing Director, with close ties to the SEO/SEM
      team in Sutton.

      This is an exciting and challenging role, with the opportunity to
      develop web analytics & search marketing strategies for our portfolio
      of vertical search products, with a focus on the development and
      integration of new products, tools, blogs and services.

      Key responsibilities:

      ·Utilising web analytics tools (e.g. HBX, SiteCatalyst & Google
      Analytics) to analyse product developments, measure the success of
      organic and paid search, calculate ROI and provide insight

      ·Working with the RBI Search management teams to help identify
      strategic online objectives, define customer needs and plan search
      marketing strategies

      ·Working with brand marketing teams to identify tactical online
      objectives and implement search engine marketing campaigns & SEO
      initiatives.

      ·Undertaking competitor, sector and market analysis

      ·Working with external search marketing agencies

      ·Management and accountability of search engine marketing (SEM) budgets

      ·Producing SEO functional requirements for new web products and
      services and advising on technical SEO implementation

      ·Acting as SEO & analytics consultant to internal stakeholders across
      a range of websites

      ·Keeping up to date with developments in the analytics & search
      industries by participating in forums, reading blogs and whitepapers
      and attending industry conferences

      Skills and experience:

      ·Experience of page tag based analytics systems is essential, using at
      least one of the following: Google Analytics, Omniture SiteCatalyst or
      HBX

      ·An analytical approach, with a focus on detail and process

      ·A high degree of numeracy for web analytics and metrics reporting

      ·Knowledge of HTML and basic Javascript required

      ·In-depth knowledge of modern, ethical search engine optimisation
      techniques for large dynamic database-driven websites

      ·Understanding of SE methodology, including indexing capabilities and
      ranking methods

      ·Proven success in building, executing and optimising PPC campaigns
      using Google, Yahoo & MSN/Live

      ·Understanding of web development methodologies, including Internet
      protocols and web server configuration

      ·Experience of modern ethical link building techniques

      ·A passion for Internet-related technology
