30494RE: Separating internal traffic to a new profile in Google analytics
- Sep 17, 2013Hi Andre,
Thanks for pointing this out but I tried to do this as you've recommended but I've a few long IP address ranges and IP address field can only take at most 255 characters.
Any workaround for this?

Are you using 2 include filters together? If so, that's the problem. Because visits from the IP X will pas by the first filter (include only ip X), but will be blocked by the second filter (include only IP Y). You need to use just one filter with regex. For example, to include only visits from 188.8.131.52 or 184.108.40.206, create the filter:
Filter Field = Ip Address
Filter Pattern = 1\.1\.1\.1|2\.2\.2\.2

It isn't working unfortunately. I can't include a screenshot here so the filter is like this:
Rank Filter name Filter type
1 RF internal LAN IPs include Include
2 RF Internal wireless IPs include include

> Hi experts, I was wondering if I can only Include the traffic from my organisation to a website and then see only this traffic in a separate profile in Google analytics. I've created an IP address Include filter but don't see any traffic in this profile even if I visit this website from my organisation's PCs. Am I missing anything here? Many thanks, Sid
