      BabyCenter's Research & Insights team is looking for a passionate Web & Data analyst to join the team and support web analytics, client services reporting, marketing intelligence, product and overall analytic initiatives for the company.

      The following skills are needed to be successful in this job:
      • Ability to understand client objectives and translate questions into insightful analyses.
      • Advanced Excel skills including the ability to manipulate large quantities of data. Familiarity with pivot tables, charts and macros.
      • Strong analytical capabilities and willingness and ability to quickly learn new tools and software.
      • Comfortable interpreting data and providing appropriate business recommendations based on conclusions.
      • Understanding of web analytics and/or online measurement and metrics
      • Self-starter, with the ability to roll up your sleeves and think on your feet to support ad hoc data inquiries and ensure that basic reporting needs are met.
      • Outstanding communication skills; ability to work with many different groups including internal client-facing teams
      • Project management; ability to manage multiple projects across critical yet often fluctuating deadlines
      • Innovating thinking
      • Passion for data analysis
      • Passionate about online marketing, social media and media solutions
