      Near Kannapolis, NC
      Must be US Citizen, Green Card or PR Holder; no relocation allocation

      Job Highlights:
      Operate as a member of the Retail Client¡¦s Marketing Team, focused on
      growing Client¡¦s business. Uncover trends and opportunities by
      primarily using homegrown analytical tool, as well as all available
      Client, Company and third party analytical tools. Identify and
      produce the data required to understand Client¡¦s business needs and
      opportunities. Translate the data into meaningful insights and
      package them into a form that can be easily understood by Client
      management. Develop and present marketing program evaluations,
      including ROI and make new recommendations based on learnings.

      Job Responsibilities:
      1. Actively participate in Client-initiated strategy meetings.
      2. Use available data sources to analyze Client¡¦s business ¡V as
      directed or in an effort to uncover opportunities that, if addressed
      through marketing/merchandising initiatives, will positively impact
      Client¡¦s business.
      3. Define the data needs and possible sources to understand the
      business situation.
      4. Produce the raw data and package it into understandable business
      reports and insights.
      5. Clearly identify the business opportunity.
      6. Incorporate financial assumptions, control information, and
      projected results to assure that program recommendations will meet
      the business objectives.
      7. Develop the analytical methodology and success criteria for all
      project related marketing and merchandising programs.
      8. Analyze, and be willing to present, program results and their
      impact on Client category volume and profits.

      Education: Bachelor Degree or MBA
      Experience: Three to five years analytical experience using
      customer data, scan data and syndicated data in the retail industry.
      Experience may be with a retail manufacturer, retailer or service

      „X Ability to master new data management tools, and use them to
      uncover Client opportunities.
      „X Understanding of retail loyalty data and ability to translate data
      into meaningful insights to address strategic marketing initiatives.
      „X Ability to work independent of supervision and make decisions of
      wide variety and complexity.
      „X Ability to professionally perform multi-media sales presentations.
      „X Organization and time management skills.
      „X Financial projection skills.
      „X Solid understanding of test vs. control analysis and MS Access
      based systems.
      „X Thorough understanding of MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word.
      „X Knowledge of SAS, MicroStrategy and GIS software a plus
      „X Solid written and verbal communication skills.
      „X Ability to interface at all levels of management.

      This is more of a business marketing analyst role working with the
      marketing advertising group. Position will determine ROI for
      retailer. Must be able to interact w/Sr Director/Mgr level staff on
      a daily basis. Weekly the role with be interacting with the VP.
      Position reports to the Senior Director Analytical Consulting. I¡¦m
      seeking a candidate with experience in retail and loyalty marketing.
      Key responsibilities include segmentation, customer targeting,
      program design and promotion program measurement. Individual must
      have a strong working knowledge of MS Access and relational
      databases. Working knowledge of SAS or MicroStrategy a plus.
