    Um, no.. I take that back. It seems to have found the gd library, but is looking for some libiconv conversion functions for international character sets..

      Um, no.. I take that back. It seems to have found the gd library, but is
      looking for some libiconv conversion functions for international character
      sets.. have no idea why. You can try adding -liconv or whatever the
      library is named to the Makefile so that library is included at compile/
      link time.
