      Hey all...

      One of our servers, a beloved <cough cough> RaQ550, runs webalizer to
      stat the web sites of our customers. AT some point this past week,
      webalizer stopped resolving hostnames. For example:
      <pre>
      Top 50 of 5482 Total Sites
      # Hits Files KBytes Visits Hostname
      1 1313383 52.96% 470258 33.52% 1805884 46.05% 15 0.02% ourdomain.net
      2 743299 29.97% 743295 52.99% 1419310 36.19% 9 0.01% ourdomain.net
      3 154451 6.23% 57038 4.07% 231944 5.91% 67 0.09% mc-online.net
      4 68426 2.76% 26631 1.90% 99925 2.55% 115 0.15% rr.com
      5 29971 1.21% 13663 0.97% 37156 0.95% 245 0.33% alltel.net
      6 21481 0.87% 9081 0.65% 32236 0.82% 167 0.22% sprint-hsd.net
      </pre>

      is what the top 50 sites should look like.

      Now, however, this is what we get:
      <pre>
      Top 50 of 2958 Total Sites
      # Hits Files KBytes Visits Hostname
      1 430718 36.72% 430718 59.36% 791239 43.11% 3 0.01% 204.XXX.XXX.XXX
      2 6734 0.57% 4294 0.59% 17568 0.96% 29 0.09% 65.XXX.XXX.XXX
      3 3994 0.34% 2882 0.40% 4070 0.22% 64 0.21% 162.XXX.XXX.XXX
      4 3381 0.29% 1039 0.14% 4054 0.22% 79 0.26% 66.XXX.XXX.XXX
      </pre>

      Any ideas? First guess is that this is just a hiccup of some sort,
      however its quite annoying to have to manually lookup a referring site
      by IP.

      however, I am not so knowledgable in the ways of webalizer to be sure.

      another what files does webalizer use to actually determine stats?
      does it just parse /var/log/ stuff, or does it only parse the things
      in /documentroot/logs/web.daily or something of htat nature...

      thanks
      Jeff
