It contains some info that may help you, too.Good luck,Stan-----Original Message-----Webalizer is good but does anyone know if certain areas are going to be

Subject: [webalizer] Can Webalizer be improved on?
improved upon. Several examples:
1. On a given date I noticed a very large increase in the "Dally Usage".
The KByts were 10 times what they are normally. The "Files" and "Hits"
were up significantly and the "Pages", "Sites" and "Visits" were normal.
Question: What URL(s) / IP addresses caused this?
2. I noticed that I had visits from the "US Military" on the "Top total
countries" along with several from russia.
Question: What URL's did these requests come from? What day, etc?
3. In regard to "Total Search Strings" it only shows the string.
Question: What search engine did these come from?
In Web Trends there is a nifty window of information of which spiders
came-a-crawling. That would be a welcome addition to Webalizer.
I see that one of the "Total User Agents" stops by on a regular basis.
What is the IP address they used?
We need to have a better way to "research" the log files if we want to.
The "Top Total Sites" only have IP addresses shown. Is there a URL
associated with this address?
There a bunch more questions, but being a newbie with Webalizer, I just
don't know there are things you can do with the existing configuration
