I think I found the problem! (Hey webalizer guys, your bug ;)

webalizer automatically "includes" a configuration file when exists on the PWD. When calling webalizer with -c flag you "include" a 2nd conf file, that's why it doubled my HTMPHead/Body/End...

I tried it again, this time I made sure to configure the DNS child processes on the conf file, so all I had to do is to run webalizer with no flags... this time it was okay.

      Hey there,
Thanks - I tried it before but it generated an empty dns_cache.db. However this time I waited enough time - it started to fill up... I guess I should have been more patient...

One strange thing... When I am running it with DNS check it adds HTMLBody and HTMLEnd Twice...! in my case it includes php headers/footers twice and results fatal error in redeclared functions...

      What do you say?

I use an Apache server with FreeBSD 4.1.1 and this command works for me. Of course your paths may be different but you should be able to get it to work using the line of code below, which I got from the Webalizer manual incidentally. Let me know if it works for you.

      webalizer -c your_webalizer_config_file.conf -N 10 -D dns_cache.db /www/vhosts/domain_name.com/logs/access_log

      Hey there,
I have compiled webalizer with --enable-dns on a FreeBSD 4.5 machine.
For some reason I still see 100% unresolved on the html output.
True - the apache on this machine does not reverse lookup the ip addresses itself (It's not my machine, can't change it...) - but from what I understood when I read the man and the readme.dns - webalizer should do it by himself when configured with --enable-dns...

      What have I missed?
      thanks.
