Yes, there is money available in the district. It's just that it's
money with strings attached like Title 1. The problem for the district
is the lack of unrestricted money.

Our principal also said that he was pleasantly surprised at the budget we received for our site and was able to hire another instructional assistant.  Money is often misused in our district.  We've had brand new tvs and vcrs sitting in storage for years.  I've seen all kinds of random items ordered at the last minute so that we don't lose money.  Obviously, this doesn't solve all the problems, but don't tell me my daughter can't go to the doctor and then turn around and hire a $40,000+ consultant! It's insulting and wrong!
