WVN ALERT: Clark carries Wayland
- Democrat Katherine Clark of Melrose attracted 69% of the Wayland vote as she cruised to victory Tuesday in a special election to fill the Fifth Congressional District seat vacated by Sen. Ed Markey.
Republican Frank Addivinola Jr. received 348 votes -- 28%. Other candidate votes and blanks totaled 37.
The Wayland turnout was 13.9 percent of registered voters.
