WVN Alert: H1N1 vaccine clinics

    There will be Community H1N1 Vaccination clinics on Wednesday and Thursday Dec. 2 and 3 at the Town Building. Wednesday, 2-4 p.m.: 400 doses of mist available.

      There will be Community H1N1 Vaccination clinics on Wednesday and Thursday Dec. 2 and 3 at the Town Building.

      Wednesday, 2-4 p.m.: 400 doses of mist available. Mist is for healthy children only (no history of asthma, wheezing or any underlying health issue) age 2-18.

      Thursday, 5-7 p.m.: This first come- first served clinic is for children aged 6 months to 18 years, children age 6-17 who have an underlying medical condition, plus parents and caregivers with children under 6 months old in their homes. Proof of residence and proof of high-risk medical conditions (inhaler for asthma, letter from doctor, for example) for high risk categories will be required.

      The Board of Health notes that lead time is short because the town must wait until vaccine is delivered.
