WAYLAND VOTERS NETWORK
July 14, 2004
Dear Wayland Voter,
This newsletter is to remind you about two events this week that may
be of interest.
A videotape recording of the July 8 public forum on the high school
project will be broadcast tonight, Wed., July 14, on the Wayland
cable TV channel beginning at 7:00 pm (not 7:30 as we reported
earlier). This broadcast is made possible by the tireless efforts of
volunteer camera operator Richard Turner, in cooperation with Jim
Mullane at WayCAM. If you have questions or comments about the
taping and broadcast of Wayland's public meetings, please contact
The High School Building Committee meets tomorrow night, Thurs., July
15, at 7:30pm in L1 Lecture Hall, Language Building, Wayland High
School. The meeting will begin and end with public comment. The
public comment period at the beginning of the meeting has been
extended to 30 minutes, presumably to allow people who were unable to
attend last week's public forum to ask questions about the three
design options being considered by the committee.
Earlier issues of this newsletter contain detailed minutes of HSBC
and School Committee meetings, and a report on last week's public
forum on the high school project. If you have received this
newsletter from a friend and would like to receive your own copy or
any earlier issues, send an email to waylandvoters2@...
will be signed up for the listserv. Anyone who'd rather receive
information from WVN by phone or regular mail should leave a message
