      Dear Wayland Voter,

WVN Newsletter #199 on abatements referred to information that
must be made available to property taxpayers under an article
passed at the 2004 Town meeting. Much of that information is
now available on paper at the Wayland Library. Please ask at the
library desk for the spreadsheet and a packet called "Reading
Your Property Record Card - Vision Technology."

The library is undergoing repairs and the main floor is closed.
The Raytheon Room, adjacent to the children's toom (which
remains open), is being used for library operations.

The spreadsheet may contain errors and is marked "DRAFT."
Further information on how assessments are figured should
become available soon. If you have difficulty understanding how
to use the data, let WVN know and we'll try to find a tax maven to
      answer general questions.

You may want to pass this information on to residents who lack
computer access. Those who can't get their property card online
can get a free copy from the assessors' office at the Town
      Bulding.
