      -- Monday, Feb. 7, 7 p.m. Finance Committee meeting, including its Powerpoint presentation of the FY12 Proposed Budget (capital and operating). After public comment, the FinCom will discuss and vote on the budget and debt exclusion ballot question request it will make to the selectmen. The committee will also discuss Town Meeting warrant articles.

      -- Tuesday, Feb. 8, 7:30 p.m. Board of Public Works meeting to review the Interim Water Rate Study Report prepared by The Abrahams Group. Public comment is welcomed on the report, which can be viewed under "Timely Information" on the home page of the Town's website (go tohttp://www.wayland.ma.us/Pages/WaylandMA_DPW/waterreportuse.pdf).
      The Board anticipates holding a second public hearing in early March on a proposed water rate structure before voting on the plan.

      -- Wednesday, Feb. 9, 7:30 p.m. Wastewater Management District Commission meeting to discuss the town's new wastewater treatment plant construction schedule, borrowing for the plant, land swap (also on Selectmen's Monday night consent calendar), new water conservation regulations, Twenty Wayland's long-standing disagreement about its fees, and dissolving the commission by shifting its role and responsibilities to the Board of Public Works.

      -- Thursday Feb. 10, 7 p.m. Selectmen's Meeting Room. Public discussion about the future of the Hannah Williams Playground sponsored by the Department of Public Works. The DPW has submitted a capital request for $120,000 to replace the existing structure and wants to create a citizens group to assist in planning and design. Relocating the parking entrance to Maple street and creating an adult-exercise area are among ideas under consideration.
