      Hey Gang;

      The last I saw of any TV News concerning the Beagle Lander; the ground crew was disappointed & concerned but no where near panicked. The Lander was designed to operate independently and get itself out of situations where communication with the orbiter was impossible. The onboard computer has a data storage capability of several days; if the Lander remains silent for longer then 3 weeks then it would be time to consider Mission Failure.
