      LOCATION: Northwest Trek Wildlife Park 11610 Trek Dr E Eatonville WA

      DISTANCE: 10 km (6.2 miles) 5 km (3.1 miles) TRAIL: (2) Walk on dirt,
      gravel and asphalt trails through the many diverse areas of the park.
      Strollers will have difficulty. The shorter trail is suitable for
      wheelchairs.
      AWARD: A triangular patch of a Black Bear, designed by Dorman Batson, is
      $6.00 pre-registered and $7.00 day of event. 50 AVAILABLE. NO REORDERS.
      Credit only is $2.00. Free walkers are welcome but must register, carry,

      maintained unpaved trails through fern forests and beside beaver ponds
      with a 500 foot elevation gain. "On a clear day" views of the Cascades,
      Olympics, and Snohomish Valley. (5k) rated (3) Not suitable for
      strollers or wheelchairs.
      AWARD: A 21/4" x 21/4" multicolored patch, designed by Dorman Batson, is

      Redmond Town Center. Suitable for strollers. Not recommended for
      wheelchairs.

      ESVA FEBRUARY MEETING(S) Port Angeles WA
      The Olympic Peninsula Explorers Volkssport Club will host the Evergreen
      State Volkssport Association's meeting at Franklin Elementary School,
      2505 S Washington St, Port Angeles. The ESVA Executive Council will
      meet at 10:00 am. A general information and open forum will follow at
      12:00 noon. All who wish to attend are welcome. The ESVA general
      meeting of all club representatives, and other interested persons will
      begin at 1:00 pm. ESVA member clubs appreciate the support of the
      Olympic Peninsula Explorers Volkssport Club for hosting the state
      meeting. The Explorers will provide a special route of the popular
      "Olympic National Park Visitors Center/Fine Arts Center" Year-Round
      Event. Registration for the event will begin at 8:00 am and will
      continue until noon. Participants registering at the school should
      complete the walk by 2:00 pm. Registration at the original start
      location (Albertson's) will be at the participant's discretion.
      Directions: Franklin Elementary School US101 to Port Angeles. LEFT on
      Race St. LEFT on Lauridsen Blvd to school. USE ON STREET PARKING.

      Learn more about all events at the Discovery Walk Festival and what is
      new and different for 2002.
      Sessions will be at the VA Medical Center theater, 1601 E. 4th Plain,
      Vancouver, WA. Learn more about your station and all parts of the
      Discovery Walk Festival.

      Directions to VA Medical Center, Vancouver, Theater:
      From north or south on I-5, take the 4th Plain exit and go EAST (that's
      a right turn if you are northbound). The first stoplight after the I-5
      freeway when headed EAST is for the VA Medical Center/St. Johns Rd.
      Turn RIGHT into the VA Medical Center. At the T-intersection, turn
      right. Follow the perimeter road around a left curve and park in the
      parking lot on the right (look for the Walk Parking sign). Follow the
      Volksmarch signs and ribbons to head up "B street" into the connecting
      corridor and to the Theater (which is past the Canteen).
      Workers' Walks: You can do any of the trails on these dates (must
      enlist as a worker):

      Location: Red Lion Hotel at the Quay, 100 Columbia St., Vancouver, WA.
