      Don't miss A Capitol Holiday Walk in Olympia, WA on 8 Dec!
      The start is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the Capitol Rotunda, with all
      walkers off the trail by 10:00. Anyone who wishes to carol should start
      at 5:00 with our song leader. Song sheets will be provided, but singers
      should bring their own flashlights.
      This beautiful route will begin at the base of the magnificent state
      Christmas tree, go through decorated neighborhoods, and lead to the
      waterfront by the annual lighted boat parade. Christmas boats will
      depart the waterfront at approximately 6:00 p.m. and return
      approximately 8:00 p.m. Free cider will be served at the Phoenix Inn
      Suites checkpoint. Pets are not permitted in buildings, but are invited
      to accompany their owners on the walk, provided the owners take care of
      leashing and clean-up.
      The Capitol Volkssport Club, along with the Phoenix Inn Suites, the
      Capitol Tours Office, and New Balance Shoes are sponsoring this family
      event.
      Driving Directions: From I-5 (North or South bound) Exit 105. Follow
      "State Capitol" signs to the Capitol Campus. Ample free on-street
      parking is available around the Capitol Campus area.

      year-round trails, available in town at BayviewThrifway Store Deli, 516
      West 4th Ave. Of course there will be wonderful shopping all through

      can buy Christmas wreaths, gifts, and yummy food. Need I say more?....

      TRAIL: (2) Walk on city streets through historical areas and
      participate in Fort Vancouver's live reenactment of Christmas time in
      the early settlement. Visit with craftsmen, settlers, and the gentry as
