      to Spencer Island. Spencer Island nature area loop trail and trail along
      Union Slough, view Eagles and other wild birds. Views of Cascade
      mountains. Trails are paved, gravel and bark covered. Pets okay except
      in wildlife preserve.

      Description: Walk on sidewalks and dirt or gravel roads throught the
      housing area on the historic Fort Lewis grounds. Street fair with craft
      and food booths, and military displays for Armed Forces Day Celebration.
      The 10km route has some of the trail in the woods with a few short
      hills. Strollers may have difficulty. Not recommended for wheelchairs.
      10K is not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers would have difficulty.
      5K route is suitable for both with some difficulty.
