      Hours 9:00am to 1:00pm. Finish Table will be open until 4:00pm.
      Routes Route #1: Walk on wooded trails and sidewalks through
      Snoqualmie Ridge, enjoying mountain views and a variety of neighborhoods
      and parks. Strollers and wheelchairs may find the bark trails challenging.
      Route #2: Walk primarily on wooded trails, enjoy panoramic views of
      the Cascades and Snoqualmie Valley. This walk will be difficult for
      strollers, and should not be attempted by wheelchair participants.
      Award
      Walk #1: The Labor Day patch designed by Dorman Batson is $8.00 50
      available; no reorders
      Walk #2: "B" awards available.
      Credit only is $3.00. Free walkers are invited, but all walkers must
      register, carry and return a start card.
      Hatpin Hatpins from prior walks will be available.

      Note that this event does not take place on Labor Day itself. Also note

      AVA’s special awards program discount.
      Directions
      (From I-90) Take Exit #25 (SR18/Snoqualmie Parkway). Turn north on
      Parkway, and go 1.4 miles to intersection with Douglas Ave. Follow signs
      to start.
      (From Snoqualmie) Head toward Snoqualmie Falls, but turn left on
      Snoqualmie Parkway and head uphill to the intersection with Douglas Ave.

      A Multi-event, three-day festival of walks with different walk routes

      evergreen forest, and a portion along the Wenatchee River.

      bear RIGHT onto Chiwawa Loop Rd. At 5 9/10 miles from US2 look for
      parking area on left. Watch for Volkssport signs.

      Oct. 2: KIRKLAND VOLKSWALKING EVENT
      On October 2 the Interlaken Trailblazers Volkssport Club will host a 5
      KM and 10 KM (6.2 miles) Volkswalk in and through Kirkland. Interlaken
      Trailblazers, the City of Kirkland and New Balance are sponsoring this
      event. New Balance will donate a pair of walking shoes to a lucky
      participant.
      The walk will begin and end at the Juanita Beach Park. Walkers may
      start anytime between 9:00 am and 12:00 Noon and finish by 3:00 pm. The
      route will leave the Juanita Beach Park, enter the Juanita Bay Park, go
      south on Market St to 18th Ave and then south on 1st Street to 5th Ave
      past the City Hall, down into town and up through Peter Kirk Park to the
      Senior Center, continuing to the Marina Park, north on Market St to
      Waverly Way, south on Waverly Way to 6th St. and back through the
      Juanita Bay Park to the Starting Point.
      Volkswalks are open to the public and people of all ages are encouraged
      to join in the fun, walk through beautiful Kirkland and take pictures.
      Walkers who wish an AVA Credit Stamp in their walking event books will
      pay $3.00; however, all walkers are welcome to walk the route free.
      Plenty of parking is available and the route will be clearly marked with
      written instructions available. COME ONE, COME ALL! See Kirkland.
