Comments: Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Depot (Laurel Train Station)- A
landmark anchoring the east end of Main Street. The recently restored
1884 structure continues as a busy commuter station. This American Queen
Anne style structure is listed on the National Register of Historic
Places. This is the first in a series of events saluting the historic
railway stations of Maryland. A Walker Fair is planned at this event. A
trail safety seminar will be presented at 11:30 a.m. We have invited New
Balance and several other vendors with products pertaining to our
walking sport to display their wares at this event. Come walk, have
lunch and stay for the presentation.
