Bill Larson Memorial Event: Bill Larson was a beloved, longtime
Sugarloafer member. For many years this was Bill’s Moonlight walk; he
worked hard to make it happen. He also was one of the first to serve as
a volunteer ranger at Seneca Creek State Park. And in 1999 Bill
organized a Friends Group for Seneca to generate funds through
memberships, donations & grants to support this park. His diligent work
did much to guarantee continued quality programs and maintenance for
Seneca Creek State Park. Unexpectedly Bill died in July, 2008, and we
          surely do miss him.
