      From the WEST, leave I-70 at Exit 55 and follow the signs to the
      Fairgrounds. At Patrick St. at stop light, (MD 144) turn right for 1
      block, turn left on Monroe and enter the Fairgrounds at Gate #3.
      From the EAST leave I-70 at Exit 56, continue straight and follow signs
      to Fairgrounds. At Monroe Ave, turn right (Liberty Gas Station on left)
      and enter the Fairgrounds at Gate #3. Park and walk to the left (south)
      end of the Fest Hall, the largest building ahead of you on your left.

      Druid Park. turn right on Clipper Road, right on Falls Road, left around
      Meadow Mill. Park in the west lot at the Meadow Mill complex away from
      the building so Athletic Club members can park in the close parking spots.

      Description: There is a 10-Km trail and 5-Km, both with a rating of 2A.
      The trails consist mainly of local streets, pathways and natural
      surfaces. AVA Special Program Honoring Law Enforcement and Hooray for
      Hollywood. REGISTRATION: Walk fee for IVV Credit/Non-IVV Credit is
      $3.00. Children 12 and under (IVV-Credit included) walk for free
      courtesy of Freestate Happy Wanderers. The same trail may be walked for
      credit twice on the same start card on the same day with no extra
      charge. These walks are open to the public. PROCEDURE: Each participant
      must register at the start and fill out a start card to be carried on
      the walk and presented at each checkpoint. Participants must turn in
      start cards at the Finish Table after completing the event. CONDITIONS:
      Littering along the trails is prohibited. Dorchester County requires
      that all pets be leashed and that owners clean up after their pets. The
      event will be held in all reasonable weather. Dogs are not allowed in
      the Dorchester County Family YMCA. REFRESHMENTS: Restrooms, hard candy
      and water are available at the Start/checkpoint. Please carry water
      bottles on the trail. SANCTION: The event AT13/93459 is sanctioned by
      the Maryland Volkssport Association (MVA) and American Volkssport
      Association (AVA), a member of the International Federation of Popular
      Sports (IVV). DISCLAIMER: Every reasonable effort will be made to
      conduct a safe, enjoyable, and memorable event. The Freestate Happy
      Wanderers, the Dorchester County Family YMCA, Dorchester County Visitors
      Center, Harriet Tubman Organization and Education Center and LaGrange

      Start Point / Driving Directions: DIRECTIONS: Take Rt. 50 (South) from
      Easton. Cross Choptank River Bridge, via Route 50 South. Turn RIGHT at
      first traffic light onto Maryland Ave. Continue on Maryland Ave to 3rd
      traffic light where Maryland becomes Market St. Turn RIGHT onto Academy
      St which becomes Spring St at next light. At High St (large church on
      corner), turn RIGHT. Continue to Water Street (just before Harbor Park).
      Turn LEFT on Water St. Water St becomes Hambrooks Ave after a small jog
      left at Choptank Ave. Continue on Hambrooks Ave after a small jog right
      at Belvedere Ave. Turn LEFT on Talbot Ave, two blocks after Belvedere.
      The YMCA is in the second block after turning off Hambrooks Ave. Look
      for the FHW sign.

      We had a contract in January but they are now saying we need a two night
      stay.
      4:56 AM 9/13/2013One night total is $149. Two nights $89 per night total
      of $199. They changed their tune and can't find another hotel that is
      cheaper in area. Come on down and enjoy the weekend.

      Comments: A group dinner is planned on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in a
      Cambridge restaurant. Information will be available the day of the walk
      event. We will order off menu, pay as you go. Everyone is welcome.
      Sunday, October 13 - Enjoy another great walk at Denton YR11707 this
      weekend. Start at Caroline County Arts Council, 401 Market St., Denton,
      MD 21629. Trail is 5/11 Km and has a 2A rating. The trail uses city
      sidewalks and the shoulder of generally rural roads to pass scenic
      Choptank River views, historic homes and period museums. Start YRE box
      will be manned by club members from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and finish walk
      by 3 PM.
