      Event description: The trail is along paved bike trails, community
      sidewalks and some natural surfaces. Each walker must register at the
      Start. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult throughout
      the entire walk.
      Award and fees: IVV Achievement Awards Credit is $2.00. There is no
      fee to walk this event. There is no special award for this event.
      Directions: From I-95, take Route 32 East to Rt. 3/I-97, Exit onto
      I-97 North, toward Baltimore. Take Exit 10 (Veterans Hwy., Benfield
      Blvd. Severna Park). At the first traffic signal, turn LEFT on
      Veterans Hwy. to Benfield Blvd. Turn RIGHT on Benfield Blvd. and
      continue for 2 miles to Jumpers Hole Road. Turn LEFT on Jumpers Hole
      Road and continue for 1.3 miles to Kinder Farm Park entrance on the
      LEFT. Turn LEFT on Kinder Park Farm Road and follow signs to Start and
      Parking. OR From I-95, take Rt. 100 East to Exit 16A (Route 2, Ritchie
      Hwy). Exit and follow Route 2 for .6 mile to first traffic signal.
      Turn RIGHT on Jumpers Hole Road and follow for 1.3 miles to Kinder
      Farm Park entrance on the RIGHT. Turn RIGHT on Kinder Farm Park Road
      and follow signs to Start and Parking.

      Comments: Pets are allowed in the park but must be cleaned up after
      and kept on a leash throughout the walk. Binoculars (for bird
      watching) and cameras are suggested. Restrooms will be available at
      the start. Water and candy will be available at the check points along
      the trails. Every reasonable effort will be made to conduct a safe,
      enjoyable, and memorable event. Neither the Freestate Happy Wanderers,
      Anne Arundel County Parks and Recreation, Kinder Farm Park or the B&A
      Trail Park will be liable for accidents, theft, or material damage.

      Event description: The trail is a 10k course on park roads. Due to

      IVV credit is $4.00
      Directions: From 270 North or South: From the South: Take I-270 to
      Exit 10, Rt. 117 west, Clopper Rd. Follow Clopper Rd. past Rt. 124,
      Quince Orchard Rd., to park entrance on your left. Enter park and turn
      right to Visitor Center and Start Point.
      From the North: Take I-270 south to Exit 11, Rt. 124 West, Quince

      Event description: Cemetery Trail: The trail is mostly on sidewalks
      and natural improved trails, and has no significant hills. You will
      visit many famous gravesites and the Iwo Jima Memorial. The trail is
      suited for strollers and wheelchairs with minimal difficulty.
      Fees: This is a Credit Only event. Participants wishing to receive the
      IVV credit stamp only will be charged $2.00. There is no fee for those
      who wish to participate without receipt of the IVV credit stamp.
      Directions: To reach the Pentagon Athletic Club, follow I-395 in
      either direction to Exit 10 (South) or Exit 10-B (North) and Boundary
      Channel Drive. Exit and follow the Pacesetter Red and White signs to
      the Pentagon North Parking. From any other direction, follow signs to
      the Pentagon and North Parking.

      Old Town Alexandria Holiday Walk

      Distance, Trail Rating and Event description: Two trails, two stamps
      are being offered this weekend.
      Parade Trail: 10 km, Rated 1. The trail will be an easy walk on
      pavement with no significant hills. Stroller accessible. Physically
      challenged individuals may have some difficulty. Due to the parade on
      Saturday, some areas may be crowded.
      Cameron Run Trail: 10 km, Rated 1+. The trail follows a paved
      hiker/biker path as well as natural surface trail and residential and
      business streets. Trail is stroller accessible but wheelchairs may
      have difficulty with no curb cuts on some streets.
      Award and Fees: The Award this year is a suncatcher depicting a Polar
      Bear taking a break before the walk is done. The pre-registration fee
      for Award and IVV Credit is $9.00. The fee for the Award and IVV
      Credit day of the event is $9.00. Credit only is $2.00. The fee for an
      Award and IVV Credit from a previous Washington DC Club event is
      $3.00. There is a $1.00 charge to participate in this event, unless
      you desire credit towards awards from the IVV/AVA. Children who are
      five years of age and younger participate at no cost.

      Directions: From I-95/495 in Virginia, take Exit 176B North (Telegraph
      Road). Make an immediate right onto Pershing Drive at the yield sign
      on the exit ramp. Turn right onto Stovall Street. Turn right onto
      Eisenhower Avenue. At the next traffic light (Mills Road) turn left
      into the Courtyard by Marriott.
      Parking is available throughout the complex...towing is NOT enforced
      during the weekend. Do not park in Strayer College garage on Saturday.
      Via METRO: Take the Yellow Line to Eisenhower Metro Stop. Exit the
      Metro onto Eisenhower Avenue. Turn left and proceed approximately
      one-half mile to the Marriott.

      Special Event - Saturday Only: The Annual Scottish Christmas parade
      event, including the parading of the clans, marching bands, dog
      groups, and Santa Claus begins at 10:30 a.m. Start the walk early to
      get a good location for viewing the parade and taking pictures. The
      City of Alexandria will be decorated for the holiday season and its
      many stores will be selling gifts of the season.
      Comments: Drinking water and restroom facilities are available at the
      Start/Finish. Water will be available at the check points. Pets are
      welcome on a leash. But not in the hotel, please.
      Northern Virginia's YRE in Alexandria is also available for participants.
