      Seneca Valley Sugarloafers (AVA 419)
      Distance and Trail Rating: 10 K, rated 2. There will also be a shorter
      walk available.
      Start place address: Black Hill Regional Park, 2096 Lake Ridge Road,
      picnic Shelter F,Boyds. MD
      Start times: 8 A.M. until noon. Finish by 3
      Event description: The trail is mostly on natural surfaces with several
      hills.This is a woodland trail and not suitable for wheelchairs or
      strollers.Pets are allowed, and must be leashed and cleaned up
      after.Candy, water and restrooms are available at the start/finish.
      Because of the time of year, it is suggested that participants carry
      insect repellant and dress appropriately for woodland walking.
      Award and fees: The walk is free. There is a $2.00 fee for IVV credit
      Directions: From the South: Take the Washington Beltway, I-495, to I-270
      N. Take exit 16 (Father Hurley Blvd). Follow (16A- Rte. 27 Damascus) to
      Rt. 355. Turn left (N) on Rt. 355 for about 1 mile to West Old Baltimore
      Rd. Turn left onto Old Baltimore Rd and proceed 1.5 miles to the park
      entrance on left. Turn left into Park. Start point is 1.7 miles along
      park road at Picnic Shelter F.
      From the North: Take I-270 South to exit 18, Clarksburg. Turn right onto
      Rt. 121 (Clarksburg Road) towards Boyds. Follow Rt. 121 for 1.5 miles to
      West Old Baltimore Rd. on your left. Turn Left onto West Old Baltimore
      Rd. and proceed 1 mile to park entrance on right. Turn right into Park.

      Start place address: Phillip Merrill Environmental Center (Chesapeake
      Bay Foundation Headquarters), 6 Herndon Ave. Annapolis, MD
      Start times: 8 A.M. to noon. Finish by 3 P.M.
      Event description: The 10K trail winds through the sleepy waterfront
      community of Bay Ridge. Walkers will stroll along Lake Ogleton, the
      Severn River and the Chesapeake Bay. A 6K trail is also available. The
      walk begins and ends at the environmental award winning Phillip Merrill
      Center where guided tours will be given at 10:30 and 11 A.M. The trail
      is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Dogs are welcome on the trail
      but not in the Merrill Center Water and candy will be available at the
      start/ finish and checkpoint. RESTROOMS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE
      START/FINISH ONLY.
      Award and fees: The fee for IVV credit is $2.00. "B" awards from past
      events will be available for purchase.
      Directions: From Route 50, take exit 22 at Route 665 (Aris T. Allen
      Blvd.) and continue straight as it becomes Forest Drive. Forest Drive
      becomes Bay Ridge Rd. Continue on Bay Ridge Rd. until just after passing
      through two brick pillars. Take your first right onto Herndon Ave. The
      center will be on your right after .5 mile

      Directions: From US-29 in Columbia, MD exit onto MD-108 West toward
      Clarksville. At 2nd traffic light on MD-108 West, turn RIGHT into
      Centennial Park Entrance. Follow road as it veers left to parking.
