      Description:

      The Start Point is open Mon-Fri, 7 am - 9 pm, Sat, 7 am - 5 pm, Sun, 1 pm - 5 pm. The Center is closed on New Year's Day, Good Friday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. The route includes portions of the historic Baltimore & Annapolis Railway Trail (B&A Trail), with a wide, smooth, blacktop surface, and neighborhood streets. It passes through neighborhoods near the Severn River, to include Old Severna Park, Linstead on the Severn, West Severna Park, and Evergreen Estates.

      From Annapolis Using Route 2 / Governor Ritchie Hwy Headed Northbound:
      Turn left at Cypress Creek Road (Stop light). Follow Cypress Creek 1-1/2 blocks to Summit Road. Turn right at Summit Road. Go to the 1st stop sign. Turn left at stop sign and then left again in 1/2 block into the Severna Park Community Center parking lot (marked with a sign at the entrance). You may also park in the Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church parking lot and walk down using the stairs or driveway

      Comments:

      It is suitable for heavy duty strollers. Wheelchairs may have some difficulty on short sections. There are several places to buy food and drinks near the Start, as well as restrooms. There are no restrooms or water available on the trail. Participants should carry water in warm weather.
