Yours is a difficult but not impossible problem. Class BT27 has just gone online which cover emigration records from the UK up to 1929 [Findmypast. com]. You would need to buy some units but if you know the names of Elizabeth Mary Joness brothers and sisters you should be able to find her there (eventually) . At a minimum you are looking for a Thomas, Margaret and Elizabeth Jones on the same vessel assuming they emigrated together. This record should give their ages.
Likewise, if Thomas Jones served in WWI his record of service should be capable of being traced. Any idea of a Regiment?
How old was Elizabeth Mary Jones when she died and thence when she was born? Do you know how old Thomas Jones, her father, was when he died? Any idea of location better than Wales? Can you find them in the 1930 US Census online? Do you know his wifes maiden name?
Difficult to know otherwise how to help you without a better clue as to what you know. Contact me off-list if you want to pursue further.

Subject: [walesdna] Jones Surname
My husband's maternal grandmother Elizabeth Mary migrated from Wales
to the United States in the 1920's with her siblings and parents
Thomas and Margaret Jones. Thomas fought in World War I in the
British forces. Elizabeth Mary Jones married Frank Roberts. I believe
that her family lived in New York, Pennsylvania and later New Jersey.
Does anyone know this family? Elizabeth told my husband that their
Welsh family was related to the Tudors..?!!! Jones is a difficult
surname to look for in Wales as it is one of the most common... I
would be grateful for any information.
