Counter is a new vegetarian restaurant with an interesting menu. The
cuisine is Southern American, but everything is vegetarian and many
dishes are vegan. You will order off the menu.
Please make your reservation by next Tuesday, May 6th. Send an

Action Coalition, is the Prevention is the Cure "Healthful, Delicious &
Easy" Cooking Demo & Sampling. Their chefs will be creating organic,

Saturday, May 24: Farm Animal Forum with Farm Sanctuary seminar
Join with Farm Sanctuary for the FARM ANIMAL FORUM in New York
City on Saturday May 24th. This national activist training and education
seminar is complete with movement experts, writers and activists who
are leading efforts to end the exploitation of "food animals".
Volunteers are needed on May 23, 24 and 25th for working at the event
as well as promotions in the NYC area. If you are available to help out,

Farm Sanctuary is a national non-profit organization dedicated to ending
farm animal abuse through direct rescue and protection campaigns.
Organic Avenue Raw & Organic Food Collective
The folks over at Organic Avenue have been working hard to bring you
their Organic food cooperative! From fresh fruits and veggies to
prepared foods like raw puddings and apple sauces, you can purchase
items to be picked up on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-2 pm. Cases
are available for a 10% discount!
