      Please accept the attached file as a patch for better ABAP support in
      Vim. This is a new file, not an update to an existing one. If there
      are any questions or comments please let me know and I'll make the
      necessary adjustments. Vim already includes a syntax file for ABAP, so
      hopefully this will help out any other SAP users out there.

      ... I notice this plugin sets tabstop to 2. That s strange, it should generally be kept at its default value of 8. Perhaps you meant to set softtabstop to 2?

        I notice this plugin sets tabstop to 2. That's strange, it should
        generally be kept at its default value of 8. Perhaps you meant to set
        softtabstop to 2?

        After refreshing my understanding of those variable, I think you re right. I also removed the matchit support; I don t believe it was correct anyway. Steven N.
