mode() and VREPLACE

      mode() (used in 'statusline') doesn't return "Rv" but "R" when entering "Visual Replace Mode" with gR. 'showmode' correctly displays "VREPLACE".

      Using gvim 7.3.773 64-bit on Windows 7.

        You need to use mode(1). For Virtual replace mode it then returns "Rv".
