Yes, that's expected in NSIS 2.5x. I hope that will be released soon.
The current stable release (2.46) does not support UNICODE yet.

However, even with that, UNICODE installer will work only under Windows
2000 or later, I don't know if Vim installer needs to support OS
        versions before that or not.

Anyway, the language files can be easily converted to UNICODE once we
decided UNICODE installer is a better choice (and I believe it is).

        Regards!

Thanks. I've changed the fileencoding of "german.nsi" to cp1252.

This is another update for the Vim NSIS installer.

I managed to create some new artworks for the installer, screenshots
              can be found here:
              http://github.com/gpwen/vim-installer-mui2/wiki/screenshots

The SVG version of those artworks can be found under the nsis/icons
directory. All of them are created with inkscape, they are derived
from the scalable version of Vim logo (runtime/vimlogo.pdf) directly
to make sure there's no copyright or license issue.

Repacked official 7.3 installer can be found here:
              http://github.com/gpwen/vim-installer-mui2/downloads

The changeset against Vim official code now contains some binary
files, so the conventional patch won't work. You may need to use
git binary diff format as well as mercurial import command to apply
the changeset, or simply overwrite relevant files. Detailed
              description can be found here:
              http://github.com/gpwen/vim-installer-mui2/wiki/build

This update also contains some bug fixes (build problem etc.).

              Regards!

                Hi, Antonio,

Thank you very much for the Italian language file. I've added it to
the github repository and updated the repacked installer, you can
                find it here:
                https://github.com/gpwen/vim-installer-mui2/downloads
The file is gvim73_46-int-v0.8.2.exe. You can verify if the
language works for you or not. The current multiple language
support status can be found here:
                https://github.com/gpwen/vim-installer-mui2/wiki/language

                Thanks again for your help!
