      The attached patch makes the newer GTK2 File Chooser widget the dialog
      to use when opening and saving files in gvim when the gtk2 toolkit is
      used. The patch uses the GTK_CHECK_VERSION macro at compile time to
      detect whether this newer widget is available, thus the patch show
      apply cleanly to all trees.

        Thanks. I already had a patch for this from Graham Bowland, but it
        didn't use some of the arguments.

        A flaw I noticed in your patch is that when using "save as" after
        opening a file the button text remains "Open". I don't see a way to set
        the button text, I think the dialog should be created new each time,
        that's what Graham's patch does. Or would that cause a drawback?
        Anyway, I implemented it that way now, merging both patches.
