      hello,

      just did my normal synb/build routine (i did make clean),
      and vim crashes upon startup.

      building with a Borland compiler, on winxp.

      C:\Borland\BCC55\Bin\make /f Make_bc5.mak BOR=C:\Borland\BCC55 GUI=yes
      MBYTE=yes GETTEXT=yes ICONV=yes OLE=yes FEATURES=big clean
      C:\Borland\BCC55\Bin\make /f Make_bc5.mak BOR=C:\Borland\BCC55 GUI=yes
      MBYTE=yes GETTEXT=yes ICONV=yes OLE=yes FEATURES=big all
      C:\Borland\BCC55\Bin\make /f Make_bc5.mak BOR=C:\Borland\BCC55 GUI=yes
      MBYTE=yes GETTEXT=yes ICONV=yes OLE=yes FEATURES=big xxd

      gvim -u none -U NONE does not work either - crashes.

      last version that works well for me (but i haven't tried anything else
      between this version and the one that breaks):

      VIM - Vi IMproved 6.2 (2003 Jun 1, compiled Apr 27 2004 10:17:31)
      MS-Windows 32 bit GUI version with OLE support
      Included patches: 1-504

        Patch 6.2.508 introduces a mistake that is fixed by 6.2.509. Thus if
        you used 6.2.508 you have to include one more patch. If not, then tell
        us what version you did use.

          I think I must've sync'ed at 508. I noticed that cvs is now updated until
          [vim-6-2-512:A], and all is well again.

          thanks,
