that displays in the status line the name of the function the cursor
is in. So when jumping into an unknown function as a result of say
a search or a quickfix jump, the status line needs to be updated
soon after the jump so that the user can tell where he is. The user
is not likely to follow a jump like this with a small cursor
movement that would update the status line.
