      The following is the ":version" output from my current version of vim.
      I just compiled vim61b last night and I notice that any operation to add
      a new line takes noticebly longer than in vim 6.0.105 that I was
      running. I started vim in both gui and non-gui, and with and without '-U
      NONE', but I get the same behavior regardless. Has anyone else noticed
      this?
