the closed fold will show a title for the fold (e.g., the function name for a
fold that's a function).
Sounds more like you would like to use a one-line window, with a possibility
to set the line number from another window, which edits the same buffer but
with closed folds. Something like this should be possible with mappings.
Perhaps 'scrollbind' works as well.
